Centrios Wireless Optical Mouse

Tags: , ,

Centrios Wireless Optical MouseI just picked up one of these over the weekend from The Source. It was on sale for $20, not a bad deal for a wireless optical mouse. My thoughts, it's nice and small and the usb stick and mouse connect with one another with no problems at all. The mouse is working perfect on the three tables we are using our laptop on so it's nice and smooth with no problems at all. We are not using a mouse pad. If you look at the front that black shiny part is where the USB stick goes when not using it so you have no fear of losing it. It just pops out when you push the silver button on top. The only draw is that it takes two AAA batteries so I am not sure how long they will last, we have rechargeables so it's not an issue. For $20, you can beat it.

Logitech V550 Nano Clip and Go Mouse

    Tags: ,

Logitech has just released a new wireless mouse called the V550 Nano. Which uses a tiny USB receiver that you can leave plugged into your notebook USB port without worrying about it snapping off.

Logitech V550 Nano Clip and Go Mouse
Also, you can dock the mouse to your notebook using the provided clip that you see there. Its apparently easy to attach and easy to remove, although I'm not sure what kind of stickum is used to provide said adhesion.

Clip-and-Go dock: Allows you to clip your mouse to your notebook and go. Easy-to-attach, easy-to-remove dock is compatible with all notebooks. (To learn more, please click the video tutorial link located on the right side of this page.) Now, you’ll have one less thing to carry.

Plug-and-Forget Nano-receiver: Barely larger than a coin, the Nano-receiver is so small that once you plug it into your notebook, you can forget about it. Your mouse is always ready to use.

The idea here, according to Logitech, is that you will have one less thing to carry from room to room. This mouse takes the idea of portability to a whole new level because it clips to your notebook. I see. And the price for portability-leveling? It's $59.99.

    Luxeed Dynamic Pixel LED Keyboard

    LED Color Keyboard

No doubt, the Luxeed Dynamic Pixel LED Keyboard is more exciting than its mouthful-of-a-name suggests. That’s because it literally lights up its keys with bright colors. Two colors are available. The white one lets all of the color shine through, while the black lets the chromatic beauty peek through the key font. We’d have ignored this LED keyboard, if it weren’t possible to actually customize the color arrangement through the bundled software, nor if it was impossible to quickly switch between up to 4 arrangements via the 4 special buttons to the top of the arrow keys. This means the keyboard will appeal to aesthetes and gamers alike. Starving artists will probably waste time coming up with creative patterns through the customization software. And giving specific keys a different color is sure to be useful for anybody relying on deadly combos to wipe out the virtual opposition.

Some practical specifics: 15″ x 7.5″ x 1″ (width by length by thickness). Customization software works only on Windows XP or Vista. The keyboard costs $200, but lacks a numeric keypad—which is available as an add-on for $35. (thinkgeek.com)

Scant information is available concerning the Arc at this point in time, but we do know that it features a rear half that folds in order to ease your storage woes when traveling. You will be able to pick up this interesting looking hardware this holiday season for $59.95 a pop.

    Waterproof Keyboard

    Tags: ,

Waterproof KeyboardIt's entirely waterproof, silent and contaminant proof. "The sealed and rigid surface is ideal for industrial, marine, and medical use, as well as other applications where moisture, cleaning, and durability are a consideration." It is also practical for court rooms where nobody wants to hear the noise of an old keyboard clacking away while both lawyers lie through their teeth. Some of the features of the Really Cool Keyboard include a ealed silicone design for dust-free, contaminant-free and water-resistant use, leans with soap and water, no moving parts to minimize failures and tactile feedback similar to standard keyboard. And it has a lifetime warranty. How many college students wish they had one of these when a beer got spilt onto their keyboard or dropped a huge slice of pizza on it? I've gone through a couple myself.

    Pimp Your D-Link Router

D-Links SkinsSo your router is boring, join the club. It doesn't have to be though and you can be the talk of the router world with your very own personal d-link router skin. "D-Link and Skinit now offer customers the option to customize their routerswith some 3000 designs, including fashion designs, sports teams, colleges, tattoo art, initials, symbols, and corporate logos, as well as the ability to import a personal photo using the Skinit custom design tool." How easy is it? Got me, I chose a router then the Yankees and it was a no go because of licence issues. Same thing when I chose the Washington Capitals plus they had their old logo. They played all year with the good old red, white and blue. That aside they look cool and you can create your on so go for it.
