Blusens Keia MP3 Player

Tags: ,

Blusens Keia MP3 PlayerNow here’s an MP3 player that doesn’t hail from Apple’s line - the Bluesens Keia. This device sports a supposedly “revolutionary user interface”, although there is nothing in the image that depicts the Keia will outstrip Apple, iRiver, Samsung or even Sony when it comes to that department since it is a relatively new player in the market. You will get standard MP3 player features within, including an integrated FM radio tuner, a voice recorder, support for MP3, WMA and Ogg Vorbis format files and USB connectivity. Nice to see the manufacturer throw in a clock and stopwatch functions. You will be able to pick up the 2GB and 4GB models for 36 Euros and 45 Euros, respectively.

Master Lock’s iCage Locking Skin for the iPod

So you have shelled out a few good bucks for your new iPod and you want to make sure it doesn't get stolen. Can you imagine how many of these things get stolen each and every day? The number would be mind boggling. Well instead of getting a colourfull little runner skin for your iPod how about grabbing one that also gives you some security.

You just have to put your iPod into the case and then wrap the wire around something and it's sercure. Kind of like the old style bike locks. The iPod won't slip out of the case and it can't be ripped from whatever you fasten it to. Sounds perfect if you use your iPod at work or school. You can fasten it to your desk in case you have to leave to go to the bathroom etc.

The iCage  form Master Lock will fit the iPod Classic, the 3rd Gen iPod Nano and two older styles of the Nano. They  cost you $14.99 for the Nano or $19.99 for the Classic.

LG Portable Speakers

Tag:

LG Portable SpeakersI just picked a pair of these LG Portable Speakers up on Ebay for $5.99. They aren't much bigger than a cell phone and plug into any audio device or cell phone that had a headphone jack. The speakers have a built in chargeable battery that takes a couple of hours to charage and the volume is controlled by your device.

I was totally suprised by the sound. The speaker may be too close together to enjoy real stereo sound but if you are in a pinch and need some loud music this does the trick. I hooked them on my golf car with my Sirius Stiletto and was rebuilding a fence on the weekend and took them out there. Saves lugging around a portable boombox and means you don't have to use an fm transmiter with your Sirius. Perfect.
