It seems everywhere I got these days everyone has some kind of GPS gadget with them. My cell phone has GPS technology so I can locate myself if I get lost. The golf carts at most of the nicer golf courses have some sort of GPS gadget so you can tell how far you can't hit a golf ball. Most of the taxi drivers in town have them so they can find those hard places in the bad parts of town. One cabber a few weeks ago showed his off to us by locating a really hard to find old house left over on a forgotten street built in the WWII days. His GPS took us right to the house. I knew where it was because I used to deliver pizza but the other guys in the cab didn't even know the house existed. If you are doing driving between cities or even a lot of driving in your own city then picking up a GPS system is a not brainer.

I have been thinking about getting one but there are so many different kinds available I didn't know where to begin. Finding a website to compare sat navs is the best place to start. No pushy sales people trying to dump yesterdays gadgets on you. I like being able to sit and compare different machines in peace and quiet. Of course I always like to start with something that I have heard of like a garmin sat nav.  They are trusted, reliable and affordable and you can find them in most places. I also like to check out other GPS systems and read some reviews on gps comparison websites. I was impressed with a binatone sat nav that I was recently reading about. They are small and crystal clear to read and have a good review on the quality of the voice guidance system.

If you have been thinking about GPS then there is no reason to hesitate. Prices are affordable and they systems don't require a NASA degree to understand.
