This USB 802.11n Wi-Fi Dongle is designed to be used with the EP500 digital media player. This adapter can be used with 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n routers in the 2.4Ghz band, for up to 300mbps transfer rate.
Actual transfer rate depends on installation and environmental factors such as radio interference from other devices. Typical through put of 7-8mbps is normal and enough for streaming most standard definition and 720p HD content. Ethernet LAN 100mbps connection is required for streaming 1080p high bit-rate content.
