It's truely a sad time in our lives, Microsoft is planning to pull Windows XP off the shelves this June. Fans of the six year old operating system have started an internet petition to save their favorite software. The Save XP Online Petition has gathered more than 100,000 signatures since its inception in January of this year. A quick look at their sute shows 153,000+. Please do your part and show your support for XP by signing the petition online and try to help save XP. It's what this blogger uses and has no plans on going to Vista. Remember they can't just stop supporting it, too many companies just can't make the switch to Vista because of compatibility problems.
In a follow up there might be hope yet. “Microsoft Corp. CEO Steve Ballmer offered a glimmer of hope on Thursday to fans of the company’s XP operating system, saying the company may reconsider its decision to stop selling XP soon.”
