go.tagjag.com – twitter.com – I am definitely enjoying my iPad, even though I’ve only had it for a few days now. The main problem I’m having, though, is trying to type on the device. When in Landscape mode, it’s seriously difficult to type with my thumbs (or even all ten digits!). In Portrait mode, it’s a little easier to use my thumbs. However, the virtual keyboard is so large that I can’t go very fast. To solve this problem, I bought myself the iPad Keyboard Dock from Apple. chris.pirillo.com – http

Logitech is back in the news yet again with another peripheral for those who spend plenty of hours in front of the computer – the Logitech Wireless Desktop MK700. This keyboard will feature a low-profile design and comes with concave Logitech Incurve keys which will ensure your fingers are positioned correctly, where their softly rounded edges make it a joy to type. The inclusion of a built-in LCD dashboard allows you to check out all relevant status updates of important keyboard functions at a glance. As for the mouse, this model will be gently contoured for a natural fit and boasts a scroll wheel which allows you to switch between hyper-fast and precise click-to-click scrolling. The keyboard boasts a phenomenal battery life of up to three years while the mouse can keep on going for a year thereabouts. Expect the Logitech Wireless Desktop MK700 to be available sometime this month for $99.99.

No doubt, the Luxeed Dynamic Pixel LED Keyboard is more exciting than its mouthful-of-a-name suggests. That’s because it literally lights up its keys with bright colors. Two colors are available. The white one lets all of the color shine through, while the black lets the chromatic beauty peek through the key font. We’d have ignored this LED keyboard, if it weren’t possible to actually customize the color arrangement through the bundled software, nor if it was impossible to quickly switch between up to 4 arrangements via the 4 special buttons to the top of the arrow keys. This means the keyboard will appeal to aesthetes and gamers alike. Starving artists will probably waste time coming up with creative patterns through the customization software. And giving specific keys a different color is sure to be useful for anybody relying on deadly combos to wipe out the virtual opposition.

Some practical specifics: 15″ x 7.5″ x 1″ (width by length by thickness). Customization software works only on Windows XP or Vista. The keyboard costs $200, but lacks a numeric keypad—which is available as an add-on for $35. (thinkgeek.com)

Some of the features of the Really Cool Keyboard include a ealed silicone design for dust-free, contaminant-free and water-resistant use, leans with soap and water, no moving parts to minimize failures and tactile feedback similar to standard keyboard. And it has a lifetime warranty. How many college students wish they had one of these when a beer got spilt onto their keyboard or dropped a huge slice of pizza on it? I've gone through a couple myself.
