Looks like good news for WinXP users. Microsoft has pledged to keep supporting the soon to be retired software package through to 2014. That's a full 13 years after the operating system was initially released. Good news ebayers MS has announced a price cut to it's 360 console it four Asian markets. They are planning on cutting the price up to 20% in South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore, Microsoft said. Last week I reported that Windows XP SP3 would be released today but it looks like those plans have fell through. The release has been delayed by Microsoft Corp. citing compatibility issues between the software and its point-of-sale application for small and medium sized businesses.
